Phyllis Lodoen, Executive Director
Phyllis Lodoen is Saskatchewan’s first business incubator manager certified by the National Business Incubation Association. Recently invited to serve on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Business Incubators, Phyllis is committed to building the incubation industry. Phyllis has demonstrated her passion for the entrepreneurial spirit as the project developer, past chair and now Executive Director of Ideas Inc. With over 20 years of experience in economic and community development in Saskatchewan, Phyllis is focused on creating opportunities in our city and province.
Prior to launching Ideas Inc, Phyllis spent 5 years supporting local business as Executive Director of the Riversdale Business Improvement District and several years in the federal and provincial public service. Her life-long interest in project development and management began while working on a Master’s program at the University of Saskatchewan, where she developed archaeological education programs for Wanuskewin Heritage Park and Saskatoon’s public school system. Phyllis has overseen numerous other exciting projects, from conducting needs assessments within the Regional College system to producing a full-length community play about a local legend – Two Gun Cohen – as part of a rejuvenation project in Saskatoon’s Historic Riversdale.
Phyllis is inspired by those who have devoted their time and energy to making Saskatoon an exciting and dynamic city. A proud mother and grandmother, Phyllis was born and raised on Saskatoon’s West side, where she continues to live with her partner, Terry Scaddan.
